This building is located on Richland Street in the Historic District of Columbia, South Carolina.  Adjacent structures are small in scale which dictated the exterior design of the building be broken up, presenting the appearance of 3 separate structures.  The interior has a contemporary flair with clean lines and curved walls.  Aerated Autoclave Concrete Block was used as the exterior structural  walls as well as the floor panels between floors.  This system was used to control exterior noise and for high insulation values to maintain a constant temperature in the procedure rooms.
